I'm kind of surprised that I never mentioned to you guys that I was going to be giving my testimony at church. Actually not just me Tyler too! Well, we did... two Sundays ago... the 5th. We had the whole service to our selves... between the two of us, we took up about an hour.
It went well I suppose, actually better and worse than I wanted it to. It was worse, because I didn't speak as well as I know I can. I was VERY nervous... not so much that everyone would here my testimony, but it was just a scary thought speaking about things like that in front of people I know. It would have been tenTHOUSAND times easier in front of people I DON'T know, but this, this was tough. Ok, so I think I've made it clear that I wasn't all cool, calm, and collected.

I stood up
in front of everybody, cracked a joke to break the ice and then read my testimony... that's it. I read the exact testimony (almost, I did add a new part that's not here on xanga) that I have written here on my blog. As far as I'm concerned, it was the worst job I've done at speaking publicly in a loooong time. But thankfully it doesn't matter how I do... it only matter's about what God can do through me. And God worked through me and Tyler's testimony in ways I didn't expect. My testimony was about my life over the past few years, what I've gone through and what God's done; Tyler's testimony was more focused on music. Together they we very powerful, praise God!
When it came around to the invitation... chills went up my spine, literally. I saw friends of mine that I had been burdened for go forward, pray, give testimony, etc. I was SO excited. God really used these testimonies... it's given me a new excitement about sharing the things that God's doing in my life with other people, to help people.
Now, if you feel so inclined to listen to said testimonies, here are the links to download them in .mp3 format.
